I remember seeing a video of the guards at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier COMMANDING noisy visitors to be respectful.Arlington Cemetary. Been there many times, when I was assigned up there. Lived across the street from Ft Meyers, and caught the bus there daily. Have seen the horses and carriage, but never a funeral. The changing of the guard is something not to miss if you ever have the opportunity.
I just keep on doing it the old-fashioned way. Hold hat over heart, or, if no hat hold the hand over the heart. Just seems more appropriate that way, being as that I am not in uniform.
