Greetings to all those that know and love routers and their capabilities. I just purchased my first router through CraigsList and it is in real good shape and got it at good price. Can someone suggest a good book for a beginner? I was able to find the manual online but it only shows the basics like how to change bits, depth adjustment, etc...

Thanks
Robert

Hello Robert, I will tell you that you have come to the best router forums on the Net. And has a lot of information in the galleries. You are able to ask any question that you need too. I cannot think of any books titles, Hylton is a good writer and has a few books out. The other thing that i can say, is that you do not need to rout something if your not ready, or comfortable yet. You can pick it up, look at which direction that it will be moving an just get comfortable for now. Some one will be able to get some titles for you. Enjoy the forum, We are Glad you found us. Welcome to the RouterForums Robert. Do you have a library close by? If you do, check and see what they have on routers. Good books in my opinion=
"Woodworking with the Router" by Bill Hylton
"Router Handbook" by Patrick Spielman
