You can get a Leeson 1.5 horse that fits right on the Craftsman and wire it for 110.
My Bosch REAXX is 4 hp, rated at 15 amps (the same as my 3 1/4 hp and my 2.3 hp routers!) and uses 110V. I do not understand why you would be limited to 1 1/2 hp unless it is the cost.Looks like my shop....only yours is neater....could you give me some tips on how you do it?
I've got a Craftsman of similar vintage with the stamped wings.....got it when Jimmy Carter was in the White House. Mine is only 1 HP. Does the 3 HP require 220? I will upgrade at some point but I think I'm limited to 1 1/2 HP.....maybe a Leeson.
And my Grizzly 1023.Any table saw like the Unisaw, General, or Powermatic 66 3hp units must have a 220 volt power supply.
