I'm afraid you guys are missing the sneaky way Ed has chosen to display his styrofoam manual can opener fence. It is used, of course, to prevent splatter from opening cans of tomato sauce from getting all over tools that are no longer kept in their original container.

I guess you are going to use the sharp edge of the can to cut circles in the styrofoam, or use the pencil to draw patterns or shapes in the styrofoam and then use the sharp edge of the lid to cut out the patterns.

Or, WTH, lets get a beer out of the cooler before Ed screws it up.
