This will be my last post for what is my Jan 13th for those of you "downunder" or other parts of the world I have no idea what day you are on.

I also have some good news, a donation of 2000 points has come from router forums so we can keep playing the game for a while yet!!!!

I will go out and find somemore things tomorrow, at least I hope I will..... As far as tonight take a look at this item. What is it? Tell us how it works and what it is used for, and of course for the 100 points be the first one.

Feel free to comment or leave guesses after the winner has been announced..... you of couse don't get points from the contest but I like reading your thoughts. Now take a look at this..... no reading through the blue tape....

Congrats Ed. You made it into the router tips email. Now tell me honestly, how often do you use these little gems?

Actual this is my third time on e-tips if I remember right..... Any to answer your question they all get used. The ones I noted as "must own" are ones I really use a lot. Some of course are for special jobs, like the hand vice. I find as long as the tools are handy I use them...... that is what they are for right?

I've seen one of those before this, but I can't locate it in my books. As I recall, it is a small nail lifter.

Place far end over nail head and press at centre to lift nail. also can use centre hole to lift nail, I believe.

Very close....... and you know it might work for that but it is made of thin metal so it might bend or distort..... I bet if you looked in Lee Valley someone could find it........

OK. I found it in the catalog. I knew I had seen it but just couldn't find it in the 03/04 so i found the 04/05 Catalog and, page-by-page, there it was...

It is a Veritas (I got that part right before) Screw Lifter.

Use it to lift a screw from drywall where you missed the stud by slipping the notched tip under the screw head and press the arched body, or you can engage the head in the in the keyhole cut-out.

You had to work a little to find out what that was but you did it!

I will send you some 100 points and now you can work on #12 unless someone else has gotten it already.
