Take a look at the attached image then post your answer as to what it is. You have to give more then a name, you have to tell us how it is used or what it is for. Be the first to post a correct answer and I will send you 100 points.

Remember the paper is 8 1/2" x 11" so use that to judge the size of the tool.

Ed, it kind of reminds me of what they call a "cats paw" for removing nails. You put the paw end under the nail and pry it out. Course most cat paws I have seen have a hammer like head on the reverse side of the paw for starting nails.

Hi ED :The tool in the picture is a "Cats Paw" nail puller. It has a sharp front on the tip to get under the nail heads.
