Time to play "What is it?" again.

Remember to win you need more then just a name for the object. We want to here how it used or what it is for. Personal information about how you use yours, how many of these you have, how long you have had one are also welcome.

For the 100 points be the first one to correctly tell us about this interesting tool.

Very good! I see you have the idea of how to play now, it's those details we really need to see in a post.........

This is an older one with thin metal teeth (?) that has been a help on a lot of occasions. To bad it does't help me with my spelling.....

100 points are yours!

It is a contour gauge. It is used to duplicate the shape of an object. The shape is duplicated by pressing the movable pins against the object such as the profile of a piece of chair rail. The pins move following the shape of the profile thus duplicating its shape or profile. I've used it to accurately scribe new wall panels to fit against existing wall moldings.

I got the picture, as you will see in my revised reply. I revised it before I learned I had won.
Thanks

That was great! I am so impressed I'm sending another 25 points. BTW it is OK to brag about winning at work/school/home this week and tell your friends to sign up on the router forum..... well at least your friends that are into tools.
