"What is it?" #5

Looks like this one is the stumper Ed. Two pins set at a specified distance, perhaps a jig for locating handle holes?

No but I guess one could use it like that......

Hint:

this is not a wrench nor is it the only way to do the job....... any get a "hit" or "stike" from this? Now to confuse you a little more, one end is 1/32 the other "2/32"

might be, could be, a device for preforming holes to insert screws instead of stop collar drills of today..........

Not only could it be it is! I guess we all know how to set a nail so you know sometimes it is hard to hold then normal ones in place and this gets you off set enought to do the job. It is also nice because being so close to the nail the angle is a lot easier to hold.

I think it is a wax writer for easter eggs, But it is hard to tell from the photo,I used one that looked like that years ago. you put wax in the little cups and then heat it up and then the wax comes out the little hole and you make designs on easter eggs , But I am most likely wrong, But it was a shot in the dark. For that don't have anything to do with woodworking ...Learning Herb

I think it is an easter egg wax writer.I used some thing that looked just like that years ago . you put waw in it and then heat it up and the wax comes out of the little holes at the bottom ,Whereas you can put different things and words on easter eggs.But I an probly wrong,As that has nothing to do with woodworking Right..
