This one is not tooooooooo hard if you know what it is that is. Not for use with the router or hand drill.......

When you are finished looking at it then tell us what this "thing" is used for and how it might be use. Be the first correct answer and you get 50 points.....

Looks like a tenon cutter. Cuts a round tenon for use in furniture making, or could be used as a plug cutter. What you would need a plug that long for is beyond me...
I got this for a project I have yet to get to........ still new and unused but I got it to do a rustic chair I have plans for somewhere...... When is a plug a dowel???? I should just try it one of these days to see how it works. As I recall they are about $25 US but I got this one from a broken set for about half that amount, 3/4".

Defo a plug cutter. Used to cut specific plugs for matched drills. Quite useful if you are trying to cover a repair where you have used a screw or bolt and don't want it to show
