This is a tool that I don't use any more. At one time they said it was going to be the best thing since....... But time marches on.......

No telling us that is a US dime will not win you any points but tell us what the tool is will, well as long as you are the first one to do so correctly. Make sure you add some details so we know what you are talking about......

Another one with no guesses???????????? OK then.... it is a blade stabilizer for a circular saw. AL about 3" around 5/8" shaft, one part on each side of the blade to dampen vibration and support the blade better.

OK, was I telling the true on the 2nd post? is that what it really is or did I make that all up?

Now for the 50 points what is it? Was I tell the whole truth and nothing but the truth??????????? Be the first one with a right answer and get the points and win.......

I believe you are Ed. I'm so glad they figured out how to do the laser cuts in the blades to reduce vibration and noise.

For those of you who think those crazy zigy-zagy/twisty designs that are cut in to circular saw blades are designs..... nope..... Here is a fun thing to do if you have a blade without and one with the feature. Take the non feature blade and slip in on a dowel, how tap it with another dowel..... here the ring and how long it goes????? Now take the featured blade and do the same thing.... good trick hey?

I'm thinking we have a winner here....... Points are on the way.
