I've got all old Craftsman 1/4" shank routers. I use mostly 1/2" bits (1/4" shank), either 3/4" or 1" long, which work out fine for me, for what I do. This one, kind of scary, I don't think I'll be trying one. 1 PC 1 4" SH 2" Blade Extra Long Flush Trim Router Bit | eBay
