On December 17th my siblings and their families will meet for lunch and exchange White Elephant gifts. I made this.

Thanks Tom but I can’t take credit for the design. I was looking at images on the internet for wooden lamps and I saw this so I tried making it with my own bit of spin. Now my kids want one so I’ll end up making more eventually.

I know the feeling! I built my older daughter an island several years back as a housewarming gift. Now my younger daughter has graduated with a duel degree, so guess what I'm doing.

The lamp was a hit at the white elephant today and my sister-in-law ended up getting it. Now my brother thinks this should be a yearly thing where I make something. I think he’s right.

How do you know if you have a male or female lamp? Is it OK to allow them in the same room with their lights out?
