Started whittling a few months ago. Here are few of them:

Flying pig is for my wife. Still need to paint it. Eucalyptus.

Fist is now painted but I don't have an acceptable picture. Basswood.

Amulet was a test run before making my daughter a jewelery set for her sweet sixteen. Pine and cast acrylic.

Skull totem. Gave it to my son. Pine with sharpie and beeswax.

Heart box. Valentine's gift for wife. Used as ring box. Eucalyptus with red stain and beeswax.

You could do that, Rick. Think of it as a beginner CNC.

That is a long lost art.

Thanks for the compliments. I'll try and get pictures of my daughter's jewelry this weekend. Had a local silversmith do the wire wrap on them.

This weekend I plan to mount a carving I've spent a lot of time on. Has like 10 coats of Linseed oil. It is my interpretation of Paleolithic Venus. I don't know if I can post pictures of it as it is nude.
