Why Photograph Your Projects?

We've all heard that "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder." But for our purposes, the operative word is eye. If you want to market or display your products, they have to be seen by somebody.
So unless you plan to go door-to-door and personally show your project to everyone, your only real option is taking photographs. And the quality of those photographs have a huge impact on how successful you are.

I have been a member for sometime now but have never posted but now, finally I am. I am a retired cabinetmaker and had a large shop with nine fellow craftsmen. Now I have my shop in my basement and I am enjoying it more now that the stress of business is gone. I am thankful that I am not in business in today's economy. Since I have five children in my local area along with 13 grandchildren I keep busy with projects for them as well as making custom boxes as gifts and selling them. I enjoy the router forum and look forward to reading the various discussions, tips and ideas. Thanks to all of you.
Greetings Nate and welcome to the router forum. Thank you for joining us, and remember to have fun, build well and above all be safe.

I am one of the worst when it comes to photos, I recently found one of my son's tripods and the camera is mounted all the time and I take more pictures. Now to get them edited and posted.
