Wood ornaments for box decorations

I am sure there is a better way, but I searched google for "brass or copper box accents" and came up with a few.

Those boxes are unique. Very Spanish look with that metal work. Great place to look for inspiration.

I used metal corner embellishments to find those

Ouch. Do more than a couple of boxes and those prices would add up, fast. If I didn't try to get really fancy, I could make those myself, the outside designs are simple enough, just use CAD (cardboard assisted design), trace them out on metal, cut out, drill any needed holes, 'antique' them a bit, bend to shape, and viola, good to go.
