Long-Term Sawdust Addict, asking: I have heard from experts, that there is a certain species of wood used for Rocking Chair Runners to combat the wandering affect while rocking the chair. The best species was specific; However, the name of the species escapes me today. I have searched other sites, but have found no specific species mentioned for Chair Runners. I do know, you have to use top quality materials, for the best results when it comes to Rocking Chairs.
