Kinda like Legos. Nice result but it looks like it would be very costly just in the hardware, let alone the machined wood blocks.

I wonder if a lot of those blocks are cut off and drops recovery...

That's what they appear to be. In that size they are pricey. And they are using 1000s of them. I've been using them to attach lath strips to hang 2x4 ceiling tiles where I didn't have enough room to wire them up in the usual t tracks. In #8 up to about 2" they aren't too bad, around $10 per hundred.
The problem is they didn't use recycled pallets...:grin:

Neat way to build but I would want some sealant between each 'brick', not just added to the outside once it's completed.

very nice, but I like the one I saw that was built of old tires and bottle better, not for its look but because it recycles so much
