Greetings all. I wanted to say a quick hello before posting. I don't know if I am like most that come to this forum as I did so with a specific router purpose. I'll get to that later.
I dabbled in woodworking during my youth and 20's until finally taking a job as a carpenter. After a short time I made a big jump to furniture making with an outfit in Pennsylvania, Irion Company Furniture Makers. This outfit has been written up in Fine Woodworking as they are a very good 18th century repro outfit. It was an incredible learning experience. After leaving Irion I've worked on my own, in another cabinet shop, for Woodcraft and am now working for an outfit that sells unfinished furniture (yech.) My shop is well equipped but I don't get to use it too often due to work and family obligations.
