Hello every one.

My name is Craig Harimon from Omaha NE.
I am a Tile Setter by profession but in the last year or so I have beeen rediscovering Woodwork both as a hobby and in my remodels. Also i have started down the slippery slope of the Festool Junkie.

I can see that there is a wealth of information here and i will ask manyh questions and maybe even give a few good answers too.

Thanks Craig

Greetings Craig, and welcome to the forum. Festool!! I only touched one one time in a store, I could see how one could get hooked!! Well if you are going that road your equipment is first class, now you can get first class information to go with it!!

Welcome aboard, hope to see pictures of some of your work. I can picture a sink with a beautiful splash board in tiles of course. All framed with hand made molding you did with those new tools.

You beat me to it, John. Wood and tile or stone....a marriage made in Heaven.
Craig should have some pretty things (besides his Festools) and new techniques to show us.

Guys (xplorx4, kolias, vikingcraftsman, Gene Howe, Ralph Barker, chrisrosenb)

Thanks for the Great welcome
It is funny that you should mention the blending of stone and wood
Last week I built my first piece of commissioned furniture Now don't laugh..............a trash can/ clothes hamper. i made it out of 3/4 mdf and 1/2 mdo 1/4 hard board. with popular only for the drawer front and bottom arch.

It also has a top hutch..... i know it is crazy. i painted with the wagner hvlp at home depot. i will post pics tomorrow. the kind of cool thing i did was use a cmt multi bit for the style and rails on the sides.

chrisrosenb I know TimmyC and the boys all too well their store is 45 min from my house..........lol

and yes i :wub::wub: my Of 1010 of course after buying it i can only afford to build in particle board grins.

Thanks Again for the Great welcome
And I will be happy to share what little i may have picked up.

some pics

here some pics of my hamper i did last week. Boy was it fun to build:lol:
the part that i think turned out neat was the sides stiles and rails. i cut them using a cmt multi bit and guled them on to the carcass with titebond ll.

Thanks Craig
