Wrought iron cross with wings cnc carving

I re-did the carving paying better attention to ensure a straight blank and carving depth (like I should have the first time). A completely different result. Really like the pattern and the final result.

Dimensions are 10" x 11" x 1 5/16" maple and walnut. Three coats of poly. When fully hardened I'll finish up with some steel wool.

Looks like you got some nice detail in that carve. Nice model!

Thanks all.

Mike, I am very happy with this model. I was concerned with the wing pattern. It has 4 different layers for depth so I was worried about the last layer losing detail but it worked out well. Pattern was carved at 5/16" and retained the detail well.
