Yet another fulfilled commission
The client ordered a 2-piece farmhouse set, with hardwood tops. I managed to procure some kiln dried, quarter sawn 6/4 red oak for an amazing price of $2/bd ft:

The wood came with a live edge, the boards on the right are already milled.
Then there was a closely averted disaster with a week of very heavy raining; the shop got flooded and everything had to be hastily relocated to the materials shed:

Materials: red oak stained for dark walnut (not my idea), CFP 3/4” birch plywood, 1/2” poplar: The doors were outsourced, I don’t have the setup for it (yet).
P.S. Blatant cheating with the trim - the shoe molding and the baseboard were coped with an angle grinder, and in some cases were ground for shape & butt joined. But no one will ever know.
