Cool Maple Clouds

Frank Howarth has surpassed himself, yet again.

DesertRatTom recently posed the question about who was your favourite YouTuber. Well, I think that Frank gets my vote.

The amount of time that goes into the planning, the videography, and the editing is amazing. I wouldn't have the time or the energy left for the woodworking

I never get tired of watching some of the things that he does. They always seem to be unique.

The presentation is unreal with the stop frame animation. Just blows my mind.

Admitted, he's good. But Donald Duck still gets my vote.

Really nice! But just watching all that work wore me out. I'm ready for another nap now.

I have a friend named Charlie (different spelling than me, Charley) here in North Carolina who makes nothing but segmented bowls and vases. Frank Howarth's work is very impressive, especially his videography, but I think my friend Charlie has him beat when it comes to segmented turning. He even made segmented 18" diameter doughnut last year. Go to Search Results - North Carolina Woodworker and do a search for "Charlie" (spelled this way) in the galleries. I'm a member, so I can't tell if it will work for "Guests" because it always works for me, but if you have problems let me know and I will try to re-post a few of his very many projects for you to see here.
