Default Small Round Cherry Table

I haven't been too active here lately so I thought it time I posted something. This is a table my wife wanted for our kitchen sitting area. Something to put a coffee or tea on. I had an idea for this from browsing on the net but no plan. So I just kind of winged it, starting with a full sized drawing to properly size and shape the legs.

Nice!! The legs are cool, and your selection of the top glue-up flows very nicely. Really accentuates the cathedral grain of the center board.

That is a really nice table. Made without a formal plan to boot. I also like the look of the glue-up top.

The more I do, the less I accomplish.

Nice table! Did you rout small round-overs on top and bottom edges? If not, how did you do the edges? They look rounded.

I used a round over bit with a guide bearing for the top and just hand sanded the bottom to soften the edge.

Since I got the idea from browsing the net you are free to use it and change it up as you wish. If you do please post the result as a comparison.

Nice design Dennis. I like it. The "knees" on the legs set it apart.

Someone I consider a master woodworker once told me that a master woodworker is not someone who never makes mistakes. He is someone who is able to cover them up so that no one can tell.

Thanks. I was looking for something different. I had made three small tables a few years ago with straight legs.
