Default Grizzly G0703 Cyclone Dust Collector

Is anyone familiar with the Grizzly G0703 - 1-1/2 HP 2 Stage Cyclone Dust Collector?

Is it suitable for a a small shop the size of a two car garage?

Is this the kind of unit that would support wall mounted ductwork with blast gates?

I like the unit's size and the fact that it operates on 110; my garage does not have 220.

One last thing . . . is Grizzly a good company to deal with? Are their machines good quality? I have only bought small planes from them and never any of their machinery.

Any feedback would be appreciated.

I have never heard anything bad about them. And everyone who I know that have bought from them is happy.

In all the magazine reviews they usually get the "Best Buy" or "Best Value" award.

I have several Grizzly machines in my shop, all perform well. I had to make a service call once to Grizzly. They were fantastic, and had a replacement part out to me quickly.

I have purchased several machines from them. One in particular is their 3hp 10" table saw. I bought it back in 1993 for $ 695.00. I figured if I got 1 to 1-1/2 years out of it I got my money's worth. Still have it and it still works great. Had to replace the original shaft bearings after the first 12 months and those replacements are still there today. "NO COMPLAINTS HERE" with Grizzly machinery.

I got a Grizzly dust collector that's over 30 years old and still works great, albeit a bit noisy compared to what's out there today. Also got the 30th anniversary 14" band saw - should have got the 17" one, so an extender may be in the future.

Grizz tablesaw is high on the list if my vintage Craftsman ever dies.
