Default Black Friday deals

Anyone spotted any good Black Friday deals?

Here are a couple I've seen on Amazon UK.
The Bosch POF1400ACE 1/2" router is on a flash deal starting at 8:10PM GMT this evening. Currently it's £93, no idea what the flash deal price will be. But might be of interest to UK members.

Makita 18V Li-ion cordless tool kit £289.99:

Now that deal is crazy good. So good it could be a mistake! OK, availability is 1-2 months. But that is £700 worth of tools for £290. If I weren't so lazy I'd be ordering 10 of those to e bay after Christmas.

Gone now - I guess it was a mistake, or sold out very quickly

Have not seen much that caught my eye this year.
Not sure if the vendors are not giving great deals or I just have what I need.

There's no such thing as a good deal on Black Friday in Canada . It's pretty much a joke IMO

I donít always insulate , but when I do .

I was just going to ask about BF deals but saw this thread. I have got a few emails but nothing that I am interested in. I have found that if I want something it's never on sale or it's not that good a deal. I really think sale are mostly for women and the things they like. I see them interviewing shoppers on TV and they only interview ladies. I guess the men are driving around in the parking lot looking for a place to park.

Unless you are in the market for a TV or Major Appliance the deals do not have the "WOW" factor

HD up here had a pre Black Friday sale last week with the Milwaukee 12" sliding compound miter saw on for $397 C. I had also been looking at the Bosch glide saw but there was no way it was coming down that far and the Milwaukee had better reviews so I bought one. Absolutely deadly accurate right out of the box and the best dust control of any miter saw on the market. Reviews say up to 75% capture.

Someone I consider a master woodworker once told me that a master woodworker is not someone who never makes mistakes. He is someone who is able to cover them up so that no one can tell.

Lowes and HD have the Dewalt sliding miter foe $379. (msrp $559) That's a 'normal sale price' they have are couple times a year. But since I was waiting and watching for that tool to go back on sale in did get it a few weeks ago when the started the pre-bf deals. I was really hoping there would be some unadvertised door busters but I didn't see any.
The only other tools I considered was the brushless drill and driver combo but the deal was only about 20% off and I really don't need to upgrade my 18v set. Now if it had been 50% off...
