The reason I buy them by the box is because they are so soft, I sharpen them to death, but they are not brittle and break easily,just dull the point fast, and erase well.

Pics pencils are actually a marking pencil they have no eraser the Ones i buy can be removed with a damp rag they will mark anything.
You also get the water Proof markers
