Default the future of antique tool collections

I was looking for a small dust collector to scavenge for a project and I came across this gem. 20 years into the future it won't be hand planes that are the hot item at the swap meet.

There will always be hand planes, just fewer of them. Amateurs may not use them, but pros will because there are a thousand and one things which a properly tuned hand plane can do which a power tool simply cannot do, e.g. adjust a mitre cut subtly

I wonder if all the modern plastic tools and jigs will one day turn back into oil?

The more I do, the less I accomplish.
