Default Porter Cable 336 vs Rockwell 336 belt sanders

I recently acquired a used (and non-functional) Rockwell 336 belt sander but I have been unable to obtain a user's manual or parts list. However, during my internet search I was directed to a Porter Cable 336 belt sander for which a some parts and a parts list is available. The diagram for the Porter Cable sander appears to be similar to the Rockwell 336 sander.

Does anyone know whether the Porter Cable and ROCKWELL tools are identical?

Porta Cable, is one of those companys that has been bought and sold by many companys. It was once owned by Rockwell, back in the late 60s-early 70s. During that time most of the parts were interchangeable.

Common ownership continued. Next was Pentair who changed Rockwell back to it's original name, Delta. Then Black and Decker bought them and sold off Delta to Chang Type Int'l., who moved Delta from TN, where it had been since it was started in 1939, to a new plant in NC. Before the new ownership you could get parts for ancient Delta/Rockwell machines. My dealer tells me you are lucky if you can now get current parts. Porter Cable has not fared well either. Most products are slightly stripped versions of SB&D's DeWalt line that Lowes can sell for a few bucks less.
