Apparently they are still making and selling...RAZOR 100 VT50, 10"/50 Tooth

Here are some reviews on Amazon.. https://www.amazon.com/PORTER-CABLE-...ews/B00012XA5Y

...supposedly cuts smoother than the Freud...

They don't list any places to buy, Nick, and the reviews are 3 years old at the latest.
The last i saw they were around $30.00 at HD and Freud's start at $50. +, and the reviews said they cut better than Diablo's.

Man, this saw has gotten some great reviews. Smooth cutter for rips and cross cuts. 29 five star reviews our of 30, one 4 star. That's pretty darn good. One guy said they'd had problems with burns on Cherry, but not with this blade. Maybe worth thinking about.

I don't know if PC gets blades made in different places or not but I was looking at an 18 tooth full kerf rip blade on Cripe Distributing's site a while back and that ad said it was made by Leitz in Germany.

Someone I consider a master woodworker once told me that a master woodworker is not someone who never makes mistakes. He is someone who is able to cover them up so that no one can tell.

If I already had one of these I would use it but you cannot beat a Forest Woodworker II. I have several of them and one that has a flat cutting bottom. The original is an Alternate tooth and leaves a ridge if you only make one pass for a grove. The flat bottom is just that and is faster than setting up a dado blade if you just need a 1/4" grove. Run it through twice and get a clean flat bottom grove.

FYI I have some of my Forest blades sharpened 3 times and it has been a great value. A little expensive to buy but cheap to have Forest sharpen them back to factory sharp.

Yup...the PC site says "WE'RE SORRY...We couldn't find any sellers for this product" when you try to buy it...
