my mailman brought me this 5 1/2 beauty today from england. i'll check the sole but it looks like i wont have to do a thing to it

Tim - looks like a beauty. In the first picture (laying on its side) not sure if it's the lighting but the sole looks darker at the toe and heel then in the center. Give it some light markings and a quick lap to ensure it's flat.

oh yeah i definitely will check it out but compared to the other ebay planes this is pristine. my backs a little wonky so i will check it in a few days. my replacement #7 comes next tuesday

i didnt know fedex delivered on saturday but im glad they do. no pothole in this #7. another one thats pretty much ready to go.

...just get your upper body strengthened before you start pushing that baby around...the back stroke is just as much a killer...
