Default Acme Tool Comes Through

Though you’d all like to know how well Acme Tool serves their customers.

Received the Bosch GFK50CEN Router today and the side guide, which is included in the product photos, was not included. Packaging and actual tool part numbers didn’t match from Bosch, adding to the confusion. When I called Acme, it became apparent the side guide is an accessory. The lady researched the situation while I was on the phone to determine the misleading aspect of the store’s information. I ordered the $16 side guide and she is shipping it for free after confirming all the parts needed were included, which the photo of the accessory did not show.

All this to say Acme was fully concerned with getting the order resolved and confirming the added order as correct too. No hassle or arguments - just great customer service.

I've had very good service from Acme also...

This would have been the week that I'd have finished chewing thru the restraints...
If only new layers hadn't been added....

I agree, I needed a copy of an invoice from 2 years back and I had it in my inbox about 5 minutes after calling them. Ya can't find that kind of service just anywhere. 👍

They have always been a good vendor in my experience and I am particular. I won't deal a second time with anyone that doesn't deliver what they advertise. Too many choices to deal with frustration.

Thanks for the review. Nice to know where to do business. Big question, however, is do they keep anvils in stock?

Tom, check Amazon, they have the Acme catalog listed. It should cover anvil availability. Acme also offers air delivery.

Theo, it a little (very little) joke. The anvils the roadrunner managed to drop oy Wylie Coyote often had the work Acme attached. I'm not sure I would have picked the name Acme since those cartoons ran through the late 40s through the 50s and then on TV. Incase you've never seen them, here's an episode on youtube

Tom, I take it you have not looked on Amazon. The catalog there is full of items used in the Roadrunner cartoons, not for real. The anvil is advertised as being very light weight, with a 3,000 drop weight. Yes, I've seen them, for many years, and still watch them on occasion. And everything Wylie ordered was from Acme. Here there is a 24/7 cartoon channel, Boomerang, ch 253, and I spend a bit of time there every week.
