Cut it twice, and it's still too short!

Hi Harry, when you get to parts direct there is an area in the upper right of the screen for your model number. Just pump that in and let computer figure out what it is.
There is also a way to "drill down" through the system but I haven't used that.
Good Luck

The problem with experience is I usually get it immediately after I need it.

I had been doing that but always got nothing. I just noticed that the number was shorter than other numbers on my other craftsman stuff. So I just added some zeros and I got the parts breakdown. And of course the part is no longer available. Now I have to decide, do I buy a new crown stapler or make the part myself. I have a small machine shop, think I will try making it. Will keep me out of the little lady's hair for a few hours.
thanks for your reply!!!
