Default band saw advice

A friend of a friend is selling his band saw. I have a delta 14" at my shop, but I was thinking of getting another one for the home workshop.
It is a central machine 12"-it is from harbor freight.
it is a 62" blade
serial number states production in 1992
it has variable speed and the miter/fence is true
I am not big on buying off brand tools, but this thing is in good shape and he is asking $50 for the band saw/homemade stand/extra blade.
I figure for the price, it is a good bet.
What does everybody think?
Should I just let this one go because it is junk, or get it because it is a steal?
It has the old school look to it-in the chape of -C-/benchtop model
like the old craftsman that your grandfather had :-)

I'm with BJ and when you get it home, PM me for the address to ship it to.

For $50 it's worth that in parts. Buy it.
I'm sure you will see the differences between the HF saw and the Delta, but for the price, what the heck.

Well I picked it up today and I have already a made a new featherboard for my r4511 table saw. I am actually suprised on how much power this thing has.
Thank you all for helping me through this tough decision :-)
