Default Looking to commission woodworker for round end table

Hi guys!

I know it's been ages since I've posted... I'm truly sorry to have been away so long. (I had posted about a year ago regarding the vintage Chicago drill press that Dad used to have. His estate is settled out now, and we're doing ok...)

I bought a house, and I need some furniture for it. More specifically, an end table. Sounds silly, but I have not been able to find one that meets the needs/wants- so I'm wondering if anyone out there might already have what I'm looking for... Or how much they would charge to build it.

Here's the specs:
round top: 24" diameter max, with glass round inset. (or would even consider black marble round inset)

must have 1 drawer for remotes storage, brushed silver hardware
would prefer for the drawer section to "float"- in other words, a very open looking design, but with the "drawer round" holding the legs together. (I hope that made sense... I might not be very clearly expressing that)

and the overall height maximum: 22 inches.

Color: smooth black. I have other Italian wood furniture (ok, it was a Pier1 dining set from 16 years ago- but I love it still) and it will be in very close proximity to the end table, so I'd like it to match. (satin / matte finish?). I keep finding tables that have deep woodgrain (drives the spouse nuts) or in "distressed/rubbed".(that drives me nuts).....

Any advice?

Kindest regards,
Angel
(ps- I'll need two of them)

Walter Henderson, a member of the St. Louis Woodworkers' Guild showed off a beautiful table he made for a relative last month at the meeting. You can see the legs in the October newsletter. He made all of the jigs for making and probably still has them. Send me a PM and I will help with a copy of the newsletter it you can't get one online.
