I built an oak tables 8 and 1/2 ft. x 46 in. out of 8/4x6 in. boards. When the weather turns dry I have one place that opens up in the vein. Is there anyway to fix this problem reather than taking it apart and removing this area. This table takes 2 men and one boy to move I even thought of routering this section out and puting a spline in the area. I just don't know how this would look. I would like to put a picture of this table with this but can't find a way to do it.
