I bought mine recently for $250. I wanted it mainly for the plunge part. The cheapest Bosch was $100 more. I did a few test runs with it. I like the plunge action a lot better than the Mastercraft (my first, ugh!) or the Triton (my 2nd, now permanently in the table).
I have not had it long enough to comment on durability.
I like the option to change bits with either 2 spanners or spindle lock.
I like the abilty to disconnect the power cord from the motor.
The plate on the plunge base needed a tad repositioning - I did not find the included kit all that helpful but used the pin, a guide and feeler gauges to get it spot on. Well, as far as I can tell...
