Default Scroll Saw Blades

Do scroll saw blades cut on the up or down stroke? Some one asked me this and I couldnt remember.........Regards.....AL

They cut on the down stroke, but there are a lot of different "reverse" tooth patterns that have some teeth that cut on the upstroke as well.

Thanks bj and Doug.....that was what probably started the thoughts....got a pack of blades and saw some that the teeth were running both was at the ends. They say it stops a lot of splintering ...........Regards....Al ps...BJ stay tuned...few more questions about the push block.....Al

Spiral scroll saw blades cut up and down and side to side, at any angle.
