Default My new tool

The workbench is the most important tool in the woodworking shop so I decided to splurge and get myself a new one that I really wanted and would save my back and make my hobby more enjoyable. It is called the Noden Adjust-A-Bench and you can find the details here:

Noden Adjust-A-Bench - Home

It adjusts up and down for height and has a really clever caster system to provide mobility. I added a few modifications of my own that provided clamp and jig storage under the bench top. I really love this new bench and it has added so much flexibility to my small shop. No it's not cheap, but you get what you pay for plus it is American made and I feel good about that.

Here are a few pictures of it all set up in the shop and if you want to see more shop shots, I just did a new shoot today and uploaded them to photobucket.

Hi Bob,

Nice bench!! It looks like it was made to sit right there in front of your window.

Wash your mouth out James, a bench like that is for looking at, imagine it in my shed hammering and welding etc on it!
It really is beautiful Bob, but really too beautiful to actually use.

Went over to see Bob and his new bench this past week, you would of thought he had a new grandbaby !! I mean the guy is in love all over again with the thing!! We were visiting and no matter where I thought the conversation was going it ended right back at the new bench!!!I mean the guys gone over it!!

All kidding aside it is a great addition to his shop, which BTW is a great shop to be sure. Granted it looks "unused" but it's not, it's just that he sweeps up every speck of saw dust before it hits the floor. Did I say all kidding aside, well forget that!!

Now all kidding aside, Bob is a good friend and I am blessed living less than 4 miles from him, his shop is small but he has arranged to be a working shop and I am sure when things slow down for him at work we will see some great items coming our way. (Hey Bob can I come over and carve my initials in your new bench??!!)

Take your router over Jerry and carve the Router Forums logo in it for him.
