Default Latest addition

Thank you Tommyt654 . My friend PM'ed me last evening regarding a Jet JWBS-14CS on Craig’s list. It is about 4 years old, the owner contracted cancer shortly after buying this and several other new pieces for his shop. He passed not many months later. It seems his wife has only recently been able to let it all go, she wanted to price it to sell fast and it all has except the Jet band saw. The fella selling the saw told me he had many (50) people calling but I was first. Once again waiting on the Lord has paid off.

Bottom line is I picked this up for 250.00 including the mobile base (new with base is 660.00). I will need to get a fence and sometime in the future a riser. I had to balance what I felt my needs are vs. what my wants are. This saw at this price fits the need of the hour.

hi Jerry,

nice find my friend!

i would suggest you go with a kreg bandsaw fence. i just added one after looking at building a table and fence for quite awhile. but i want to be able to adjust for drift and then be able to move the fence and cut different widths without readjusting for drift each time.

it also allows me to do nice straight rips on my bs.

Jerry, if by chance you get tired of that BS, I'll take it off your hands for ya.

Congrats on the new addition.
