Thumbs down Delta 6 inch long bed joiner problem.

I've double checked everything including putting a level on both ends of the bed but my joiner isn't leave a straight edge. It's square but the edge is bowed. Even on a straight piece of material that i'm just cleaning an 1/8" off. Any suggestions?

Thanks
Randy

Check to make sure that the back bed is level with the cutter. Thats what I would start with.

That is the most important setting. With a straightedge on the outfeed table and over the knives, rotate the head to verify the straightedge moves the same distance, on both ends of all the knives.
When I change knives I use this method to set them. I will get all the knives, at both ends, to move the straightedge 1/8". When done, I adjust the outfeed table up to level with the knives.

.

That was exactly it. I checked to make sure the bed was aligned and checked level on both infeed and outfeed but that i didn't check.

Thanks
Randy
