Default Woodcraft hss and brad points sale

Are the hss bits Woodriver has on sale a good deal for the money? I'm not real savvy on high quality regular bits. As a framer, I've only ever used spade bits, cheap hss bits, and masonry bits. And apparently spade bits are not very popular in finer woodworking because the guy at Woodcraft was confused when I asked where they were in the store

I've got a few wood river bits, they're decent for the money. Wood river seems to be Woodcraft's 'budget' line of tools, but some of their hand planes look pretty decent.
