Default Game Board

Hello everyone! Great site you have going on here. I NEED HELP!!!! (in more ways than one).....

I need to contract someone to build me a WAHOO game board. Does anyone know what this game is? It is played with marbles. I have attached a picture. I would build it myself, but I have NO tools. I can't pay too much, but if you know what it is would there be anyone out there interested in making me one? You don't even have to paint it....I can do that much.

Thanks so much!
Donna

Hi Donna,

Welcome to the forum

I am not familiar with that game, but I am sure there are others that may be able to assist.

By looking at the picture it seems the only tool someone would need is a drill and a drill bit.
if it is what it looks like the price of a cheap drill and bit would probable be just about as cheap as shipping and handling.

Dont forget to live life for fear of death grasp each day and live it to it full otherwise it is pointless.

Hi Donna

You can make one easy just pickup some peg board at the big Orange stores (HD/Lowes) they will cut it for you to the size if you want, mark the spots and drill out the holes with a 3/8" or 1/2" drill bit in the drill press or you can use a hand drill with a wood stop block ( or lock collar) on the bit..

Note ,pegboard, they sale two types 3/4" or 1 1/8" on center holes, I think the 3/4" on center would work best for your game board.

I've made a couple. Just some edge glueing and I use a plunge router and a 9/16 or 5/8 round nose bit.

This is the one I made for us.
Purpleheart boarder
Walnut and hickory inner.(I think)

I'm working on this one currently.
Hickory boarder, mixed inner, purpleheart cross section.

Mercy I'm getting old, I have not seen one of those in years, not even sure if I remember all the rules but it involves rolling dice and moving around the board, if you land on someone else they have to start that marble over ( I think)

I got lost in thought. it was unfamiliar territory.
