Default Triton 2000 & Depth Of Cut Of Saw Blade

Hi all,
I have a Triton 2000 Workcentre and have put a Triton TA235CSL 235mm, 91/4 inch
circular saw into it. Also put a height winder attachment into it. The maximum depth of cut we get is dead on 2 inches! We have cut some timber it all seems to work OK.
Two inches max depth of cut, can't be right though? I got a 9 inch saw, to get I thought, at least 4 inches depth of cut set in a saw table, please advise?
Peter.

I've been studying the Triton line of tools and will be intrested in finding out why you're only getting 2". According to the specs:

dept of cut @ 90* = 82mm (3.2283 in)
dept of cut @ 45* = 58mm (2.2835 in)

Hi Donnie,
The specs, was the depth of cut 82mm @ 90*, was this with the circular saw mounted in the Triton 2000 Workcentre?

Sorry to read about your earlier hardships on your profile. I very much like your signature, could not agree more. If one lays down with dogs, one might pick up fleas
My best,
Pete.
