Do you mean a veneered raised panel? (That is, a raised panel on which thin veneer stock is glued?)

Raised panels are usually made of solid wood, glued up to the necessary width, if necessary. Applying veneer to the raised panel (e.g. one made of MDF) would be tricky, to say the least, but possible. I'd see it as a multi-step process, with a lot of very careful trimming in between.

Hi kikin1096

It's not that hard, you can use paper back "venner " stock, use some good glue and two roller one small one and one very small and short, and you need a spray bottle of water to soften the wood veneer you can't have any real sharp corners they must all be rounded off so to speak.. use can also use the paper type that looks like real wood it works very well also..with a good wax job they will turn out fine..and last a long time..

Here's a snapshot of's just some MDF with the paper type on it.
