Default Good wood source

I am new to the Dallas/Fort Worth TX area, I live in Flower Mound, TX, and I would like to find a source for wood in the area. Since I live north of DFW I would prefer a lumber supplier north of DFW or maybe close to Denton. I've shopped the big box stores and can't find very much lumber for furniture projects. Thanks

Welcome, Van. Try Brazos Forest Products at 2760 N. Great Southwest Parkway Grand Prairie, TX 75053
800 772-2777 or 972 602-1225. I haven't been there in a while so if still in business these guys should have just about any type of wood you may ever want.

Thanks for the suggestions! I now have an idea of where to look as soon as Christmas is over. Finding lumber may determine what my New Years resolutions are.
