That must be Lenny; I've got his brother Squiggy on a cabinet at my house! Sorry, I couldn't resist!

I've always just called them pivot hinges. Not sure if that's right or if there is an actual name for them.

So I was just walking around HD yesterday and found a similar product to these bookshelf pegs/pins LOL

Does it need to be that style? Your picture shows the door open yet it is blocking some of the opening. You can get hinges that will clear the opening when opened thus giving more access to the item's inside.
