Default Delta 12 1/2 inch planer Dust Collector

I'm trying to control the dust in my basement shop. I built a DIY cyclone dust collector for my shop vac and can find dust control for all my tools except for my Delta planer mod #TP305 any help would be very helpful, thanks

Jim, you can order the factory dust collection hood from DeWalt service centers. It is very simple to install and costs about $28. I suggest getting a 90 elbow to attach directly to the hood; this prevents the hose from sagging in the way. I am very happy with mine.

This is the best thing to hit a planer, you will wear out a shop vac trying to keep up with the chips and you still won't get it all. But this makes that easy and you don't miss any dust plus I think it helps to cool your blades which makes them last.*

I found that when I installed the Delta accessory on mine, the sound level went up considerably.
And why is a dust hood an accessory? It should be mandatory.
That last part was rhetorical...
