Default Rockwell Cat# 46 510 Shaper

I believe the spindle bearings are shot and I intend to get new bearings. Any advice for dismantling the spindle? It is a 1 hp 1/2 inch drop over spindle rockwell shaper.
Any info is appreciated

Are you sure about that model number? All I can find are lathes, no shapers.

I gotta go with Jack on this one. Is that the number on the spindle itself or the shaper model no?

Thanks for checking on this...I will go double check. The number is attached to the shaper table top.

The wall got up. I had my 13 year old son come read the numbers and he came up with the same ones. The serial # is 129 0885 and the cat # is 46-510. I am going to get it apart and the bearings will have their own numbers which any bearing supply house should have. I will let you guys know anything I find out along the way. Thanks for your imput.
