Clean The Rollers On The Planer
I have a Dewalt 735 12.5 planer that i really like, the only issue that i have with it is in regard to the rollers that feed the workpieces through the machine. The issue has nothing to do with a design issue with the planer, but an issue that is common, or at least I suspect it is common on any planner with similiar rollers. The surfaces of the rollers constantly are getting dried out and/or overed with dust and have to be cleaned. I use mineral spirits to clean them with and then try to keep the in feed and out feed tabled clean and waxes ans well as the table inside and on the bottom of the planer. My question is simply this, am I doing all that can be done to keep the surfaces of the rollers in the right condition for proper feeding of the stock being run through the planer?
