Default Need Craftsman Jointer Part

Hi All - I recently picked up an old Craftsman 6 1/8" jointer for my first big furniture project & after getting about halfway through, part number #21204 "linkage assembly" broke. The jointer is model number 113.232212 or 113.206933 (either one uses the same part). The part is a threaded clamp that engages with the jackscrew to raise/lower the infeed table. Any help in tracking down the discontinued part is greatly appreciated!

Thanks,
-Peter

Peter, I think you may be out of luck on that one. About the only chance is finding another jointer for parts. Depending where it broke, a machine shop may be able to make what you need, but that is usually an expensive option.

I have found that hand tools are the best choice when I want to make mistakes at a slower rate of speed.

I don't suffer from insanity. I enjoy every minute of it.

Part number 60254 is similar and available @ 3.99. I have no idea whether the threads match, or if the link is the same length. The S&H will get you if it doesn't work though. It is from model 113.206930

Thanks Duane, I checked 113.206930 but that uses the same #21204. Saw one go on ebay about 10 days ago for $15 with the jackscrew. Just missed it :-(

Yep, you are correct. I was looking at the wrong partslist!

I see those on Craigslist frequently. I bet you could get one cheep enough to get what parts you need.
